Catching Up With Hair Guru Ken Paves & Getting Scoops On His Hair Travels

I just had the great fortune to catch up with my favorite Hollywood Hairdresser, Ken Paves.

The always vivacious Kenney (as his friends call him) was chatting with me via phone from Los Angeles where he is doing a bunch of hair projects after having recently returned from New York where he hung out with Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker.

I asked Ken about recent photos of him with Jessica and questioned whether he had done her hair for their now famous cruise on The Hudson.

Ken said that he had styled Jessica's hair earlier in the day for an event but she wrapped her hair into "a cute little bun" for the cruise.

Ken has been traveling non-stop for the past several weeks and explained he has been to Caan, Vienna, back and forth to New York and then up to Canada to do Lady GaGa's hair for the recent 2009 Much Music Awards where at the finale of Poker Face flames shot from her chest.

How does Ken like working with Lady G?  He adores her and thinks she is absolutely amazing.  He finds her incredibly talented with fabulous hair.  Expect more amazing hair collaborations with Ken and Lady G in the very near future.

Besides designing Lady GaGa's spectacular hair look for her Much Music Video Award Performance Ken also coiffed Reality Queen Kim Kardashian for her appearance at Much Music since she introduced GaGa.

Kim's hair in the past was styled by Ken with the wigs she has worn.  Besides making hair history with Lady G and Kim Kardashian, Ken has been busy styling the luscious locks of Megan Fox.  Let's not forget his ongoing clients, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Victoria Beckham, Jessica Simpson and Christina Applegate.   No wonder Ken's own hair risks being on fire from how fast this amazing Hollywood Hair Guru moves from project to project.

Daily Hair Tip
A humectant hair product attracts moisture to the hair while an anti-humectant repels moisture. Use a humectant to combat static electricity and an anti-humectant to deal with humidity.
