Deborah Harry Makes News For Gray Hair

Deborah "Debbie" Harry aka Blondie made the media headlines today.  No, not because she had a new CD or a hot new Broadway show. Nope.

She made the wires because she attended a Broadway performance and allowed some gray hair to show.

Deborah was famous during her era as the popular singer for Blondie for her various shades of white, yellow and assorted blonde shades. Often she would shock with her combination of light and dark colors.

In a way, Deborah was using her hair color as a way to be recognized before the days of Pink with her bright fuchsia tresses.

Debbie continues to buck hair trends by proudly showing off her graying tresses at age 62. Never mind that she still rocks out on stage. She's turning gray and she's proud of it. Kudos to you Deb. Rock on.

The singer showed off her natural hair color at a recent Broadway performance of the musical "Passing Strange," along with a much fuller face than fans of the 1970s and '80s band remember, the Daily Mail reported.
