Steve Carrell's Daughter Acts As His Fashion Stylist

Steve Carrell was recently a guest on Ellen chatting about ending his seven year run on "The Office".  He said the final show was actually a lot more emotional than he thought it would be.

Steve told Ellen "I'd been preparing myself because I'd known for about a year that I was going to be leaving this season and I thought I was emotionally prepared but I was really surprised at how bittersweet it was.  And everyone was crying, but it was nice.  They're my friends so that was the difficult part of it.  Sort of moving on.  I felt like everyone was a junior and I was a senior and I was graduating and moving on and they're still in high school."

The real impetus for Steve leaving The Office?  He confessed "spending time with my kids. That was the real impetus for me leaving. I've been trying to pack (in) a lot of kid time.  My kids are my hobby.

Steve's two children are 6 (a boy) and 9 (a girl).

He proudly told Ellen "and my daughter actually picked out my outfit.  My daughter Annie said 'I want to be your stylist.'"  Steve told Ellen "I had another sweater on and she said 'ugh ugh, no.  Nope, too Fallish.  Too much like Autumn.  Really?  Nine?"

Ellen told Steve she liked his outfit and that his daughter did a good job being his fashion stylist.  Watch out fashion world.  A new stylist is in the wings.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
