While it's definitely true that most people aren't going to be able to maintain a perfect 100% healthy diet and lifestyle, there are way to work around the need to enjoy life sometimes.

Birthdays, anniversaries and Holidays often call for some celebratory alcohol or special high sugar or fat treats.

Many people don't even think about their livers, until they're having problems with this important organ.  When the liver is overloaded with toxins, a lot of problems may occur, including slow or stalled hair growth.

Scientific studies have shown having healthy livers help grow hair.  The healthier the liver, the higher the potential for hair which grows to its optimum length.

The body can't function properly, including grow healthy hair if it's loaded down with toxins.

Liver Functions

The liver is a vital organ with a wide range of functions, including detoxification, protein synthesis, and production of biochemicals necessary for digestion. The liver is necessary for survival.  There is currently no way to compensate for the absence of liver function in the long term.

Many key functions in the body including the regulation of metabolism along with glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells, plasma protein synthesis, hormone production, and detoxification are controlled directly by the liver.

In addition, this hard working organ produces bile, an alkaline compound which aids in digestion via the emulsification of lipids.

Rather than take the time or make the commitment to addressing toxic liver issues, many people will just pop extra pills.

While it's true that when hair growth has stalled, hair vitamins can definitely help.  To achieve the full benefits of a carefully designed healthy hair formulation, a healthy liver makes all the difference.

A liver functioning at only partial capacity may not be able to properly absorb any type of supplements, hair vitamins or other.

Reboot Your Liver - Growth Healthier Hair

Approximately twenty years ago a nutritionist suggested I start every morning with a cup of hot lemon water in order to reboot my liver.

When you reboot your liver and flush out toxins, you can growth healthier hair.  You can also experience a range of long term health benefits.

Although there are a dizzying array of liver flush programs listed on the Internet or available for purchase, I have always been squeamish about taking any type of drastic detox actions.  I would much rather adopt a very long term gentle approach.

It should be noted some types of aggressive liver/gallbladder detox programs may trigger a healing crisis which requires the supervision of a physician.

Hot Lemon Water Drink

Basically the hot lemon water drink consists of approximately 8 ounces of hot filtered or similar water with 1/2 of a squeezed organic lemon.   It sounds like a simple recipe and it is.

Although my nutritionist suggested I heat the water on the stove, brink it to a boil and allow it to cool to a drinkable temperature, some people use their microwaves in a pinch.

There are a few caveats with the hot lemon drink.  It's always important to make sure the water is hot enough to provide optimal benefits without burning the lips, tongue or throat as it's consumed.

Water Water

Also, it's best to drink the lemon water with a straw to minimize long term damage to the teeth and rinse with cool water afterwards.  Since the goal is to detox the liver, adding any type of sweetener is forbidden.

This simple and easy lemon drink gently restores the pH of your saliva which in turn helps you to absorb the nutrients from the food you eat.  If drunk all in one go first thing in the morning - an hour before eating - it will flush & detox the liver and gallbladder.

Summary - Healthy Livers Help Grow Hair

When the liver is malfunctioning, a lot of problems may occur including slow or completely stalled hair growth.

Detoxing your liver or keeping it as healthy as possible will go a long way to helping your entire body, including your hair and it's growth cycles.
