Nick Jonas Catches Respiratory Infection And Jonas Brothers Cancelled Concert

A nasty respiratory infection took down Nick Jonas, the youngest member of the spectacular Jonas Brother group over the weekend.

An official statement was released from the band which said "Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and the throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing.  This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever canceled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform."

Actually it's wise that Nick didn't perform with the rest of the group.  With all the different flu and related bugs going around the best course of action is rest and plenty of fluids.  Not to mention the fact Nick could have potentially infected his two brothers or other members of the band.

The fans were very understanding although disappointed.  The Jonas Brothers promised to reimburse all ticket costs to the fans who were not allowed to attend the concert which was to have been held in Zurich, Switzerland.  It seems that the group was already in Europe in Berlin, Germany for the MTV Europe Music Awards.
