Big Brother 11 - Russell Wins Head Of Household & Bargains With Jeff

As the latest edition (Sunday, August 2, 2009) of Big Brother on CBS started there was an interview with Jeff who said that he was very sad that Casey left and it was "bittersweet" because it was "sweet that Jordan" had survived said but "bitter that Casey left".

Jeff pointed out that Casey went out fighting and Jeff obviously was fond of Casey and proud of him.

Meanwhile Natalie provided a soundbite on Casey's eviction and she had nothing good to really say about Casey since he had attacked her ally Jessie at the end and had accused Jessie of selling him out.  Natalie did not like that at all and returned the attack on Casey.

The show resumed from last week with the House Guests spinning around on a huge metal contraption which looked like a type of carnival ride.  As they spun around they kept being thrust into a gigantic rolled up diploma since this was their graduation ceremony from cliques to individuals.

Jessie Exempt From This Weeks Head Of Household Contest

Jessie was not part of the Head Of Household (HOH) contest because he was the outgoing Head.  His fate, as he explained to the Big Brother camera, rested in the hands of Chima (pronounced She-ma) as his only true ally.

Kevin was the first to drop from the contest for new HoH.  As a result he got a 'graduation gift'  which allowed him to select on of five envelopes.  Inside Kevin's envelope?  $5,000.  Lydia dropped shortly after Kevin did but first asked him he would "hate her" if she dropped.

She also won a graduation gift and selected an envelope.  Inside was a certificate for a large plasma screen TV.  While Kevin and Lydia were happy with their new gifts, they lost Jessie's respect who said he wasn't going to forget that they didn't try very hard.  At least not in Jessie's opinion.

Ronnie was the third to drop and picked envelope #4 which had nothing inside.  Natalie was definitely in pain as she hung on and was throwing up non-stop.  She also got nothing in the envelope she selected which was #1.

Pelted With Rain

Besides the spinning contraption and the rolled up diploma hitting them as they passed by, the House Guests were getting pelted with intense downpours of rain.

The competition was fierce to hang on.  Jeff and Jordan were desperate to stay on the contraption because they wanted to win Head Of Household.  Jordan said her legs were getting numbed and she dropped after 1 hour and 37.  She said she felt she let Jeff down but she "couldn't feel her legs."

Jordan's Gift - To Be A Have & Select Three Have Nots

Jordan's graduation gift was that she was a "have" for the week and at the end of the week she could pick three House Guest to be  "have nots".

Michelle told the Big Brother camera said she felt "she didn't have any friends in the house" and definitely "needed to hang on".

Chima Loses Control & Falls Off

Chima's body was literally being pushed into front flips as the machine spun and getting beat up really badly.  She said she was "holding on for dear life" and she knew she was holding the fate "for Jessie and Natalie and really had to do this."  Jessie was pulling for Chima who lasted approximately 2 hours and 22 minutes.

Jessie said when he saw Chima fall off he felt "he had pulled the cord of his parachute and nothing came out" since she was his known ally.  Jessie said he could "very well be the next target".

Meanwhile Jeff who said his legs were hurting said he couldn't give up and was playing hard for him and Jordan.  When she fell Jordan said she felt really bad like she let Jeff down.

Russell, Jeff and Michelle are holding onto the spinning metal contraption for dear life and to become the next Head Of The House (HOH) where all the power will reside.  This is especially true since the original Cliques were disbanded with the eviction of Casey.

Russell & Jeff Make A Deal For Head Of Household

Jessie wanted Russell to hang on and not Jeff because Russell felt that Jeff would be a much worse enemy than Russell.  When the spinning contraption temporarily stopped for a bit Russell yelled out to Jeff that they would work together to get Ronnie out.  Jeff said that if Michelle dropped he and Russell could talk.  Russell put up a "call me" phone symbol

Jeff said the pain he is going through is unbearable.  He said his hands were cut up and his ears were ringing.  Still he would not give up.  Jeff was determine.  Jordan was on the sidelines rooting Jeff on saying "play it out, play it out".

Russell said "what are we going to do?  Are we going to sit here all night?"  Russell and Jeff talked while hanging on the contraption as the two remaining House Guests.  Russell told the Big Brother camera that he no longer trusted Ronnie and wanted him out.

Jeff said "all he is concerned about is that he and Jordan are safe."  Jeff didn't want to drop because he was worried that Russell would protect him and Jordan.  Russell said he would give Jeff his word on it.

Russell Swears On His Dad

Russell asked the entire House Guests to leave the area.  Russell told Jeff he swore on his dad that Jeff and Jordan would be safe and he continued to say he swore on his dad.

Jeff decided to trust Russell on his word and dropped down from the contraption after 3 hours and 30+ minutes of hanging in the air.  Russell said he had developed "newfound respect for Jeff and that he is a tough kid."

After Jeff dropped Russ was named the week's new Head Of Household and he certainly earned it.  He and Jeff went through intense pain to hang on as long as possible.
