Grandma Beauty Pageant Hosted by Gastonia North Carolina Grizzlies

The Gastonia North Carolina Grizzlies hosted a Grandma Beauty Pageant last night between innings of their game against Fayetteville.

The baseball game, held at Sims Legion Park, showcased seven pre-selected contestants who competed for the title of Grizzlies Grandma of the Year in a series of events throughout the game.

Contestants attempted to win the approval of the fans in a dance routine, question-and-answer session and talent show. The fans proclaimed the winner by applause at the conclusion of the game.

"It's a ridiculous kind of fun event," general manager Jesse Cole said.

The baseball game ended the first half of the season. The Grizzlies will begin the second half noon Tuesday at home against Forest City.

Daily Hair Tip
After you have removed hot rollers from you hair let the curls set for a minute. Use fingers or pick to carefully arrange curls so they don't droop.
