Miss America 2009 Pageant Available On DVDs

In case you haven't noticed, I am big about blogging about all the events surrounding Miss America 2009. You might wonder why?

Could it be that I'm from Indiana where the current Miss America hales from?  Or am I a former Miss America groupee?  Maybe I am interested in being in a future pageant.

The answer is no to all of the above.  I am supporting Miss America via this blog because it is a very worthwhile organization with regard to promoting education for young women and for all the charitable work the various Miss Americas undertake.

Of course I also support Miss America 2009 because my dear friend Hollywood Hairdresser Ken Paves was one of the judges who participated in the pageant and helped to select the final winner.  Ken still participates in some of the charitable events related to Miss America.

How does Miss America operate?  Through various paid appearances and other advertising fees which help to support the organization and provide charity to those in need.  One way that the Miss America Organization raises money is through sales of official Miss America items.  Recently the Miss America organization announced the availability of DVDs from the recent 2009 Miss America Pageant.

Anyone can purchase a variety of DVDs by visiting the Miss America Shopping Site.  The following DVDs are available from the 2009 Pageant including:
