Pregnancy.org Is Great Website For Parents

I recently became acquainted with Mollee Bauer, the General Manager-Publisher for the fabulous Pregnancy.org.  After meeting Mollee on a popular social media channel, I made a beeline for Pregnancy.org to check it out.

Although I'm not a parent or wannabe parent, I did write a hair and beauty column for a handful of pregnancy magazines in the late 1990s into 2000.  I think it's fair to say I have awareness of what it takes to produce exceptional content in the pregnancy, baby and parent genres.

When I stopped by Pregnancy.org I was completely blown away.  The site's mission statement is that they're built "By Parents, For Parents™."

Indeed, every aspect of parenting is covered from pre-baby, pregnancy and post baby to all the challenges of being parents and raising children to be good adults.  The site is very impressive and worthy of high praise.

Pregnancy.org was built to "educate, empower, and connect parents and people try to become parents."  The purpose of the site is for "love of children" and the "desire to do" the "very best raising them to become good adults."

If that doesn't impress you away, they also note that they believe "parenting is a sacred responsibility and that education and communication will help us fulfill this responsibility the best we can."

The brilliant site offer some interesting and information articles about hair ranging from pregnancy and postpartum hair loss to addressing issues with bleaching, dying or highlighting hair during pregnancy.   There's also celebrity hair talk and answers to questions such as whether laser hair removal is acceptable and when during the pregnancy cycle.

Since this website covers all stages of parenthood, they also address preschoolers, toddlers and children who pull hair or have other aggressive hair related behaviors.  All parenthood related hair issues are covered in a variety of formats from articles, tips, blogs and columns to forums.

Highest Of Ethics

Child And Father

Pregnancy.org is a for-profit site.  They make no bones about it.  However, they're not just in existence to make money.  They have the highest of ethics refusing to advertise products which might be lucrative, but not necessarily of the highest ethics.

They pledge not to accept any sponsorship which directly or indirectly interferes with their published mission.  They also won't accept advertising of products which they believe directly compromises their ethics.

Pregnancy.org also does community outreach.  They believe there are many people out in the community who need assistance and they do their very best to be there for them.

Community Outreach

We do community outreach. There are many folks out there that will need our help. We're planning on being there for you!

Bottom line, Pregnancy.org is a group of people working together to create a common goal: the greatest resource and community for people who want to have kids, are pregnant, are raising children or even beginning to take care of our own parents. Nobody's above, or below, anybody else.

If you're trying to become pregnant, currently pregnant, or a parent you need to check out this website and community.  It would be very advantageous to join so that you can take advantage of all the site has to offer.   Participate as much or as little as you want because regardless of your involvement, Pregnancy.org will always welcome you.

You can also check them out on Twitter at @pregnancyorg or Facebook at pregnancyorg.  Pregnancy.org is always growing and evolving, to become the best pregnancy and parenting site out there!

Daily Hair Tip
To protect against potential heat damage to your hair, always use a blow drier on the coolest setting and make sure to apply a good leave in conditioner that will protect the hair shaft from the dryer.
