Relax With An Indo-Asian Hot Stone Massage

Remember the last time you were stress free?

The Indo-Asian Hot Stone Massage spa treatment offered at Absolute Nirvana Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico can offer you a hot stone massage that will melt the stress away. The massage utilizes hot stones to locate specific stress points in the body, in essence leaving the mind completely relaxed.

Warm stones are gently placed on and under your body. As you are massaged with the stones, you feel the stress melt away... relaxing the body to a deeper level. Stone massage has a profound effect on the mind and body while facilitating the treatment process.

Utilizing hot stones and a blend of organic jojoba, safflower and grape seed oils, enriched with sea algae, Japanese Green Tea, and Hop Extract massage oils, the massage truly focuses on relieving the body of external stress.

Just imagine as the hot stones are gently placed on the body, the warm massage oil guides the stones to the high tension areas. There every moment counts as the stones massage the muscle, at which point the mind wonders off to a deep mind relaxation and a place of blissful happiness.

It is also recommended to leave the massage oil for a several hours to infuse the body of nourishment and moisture.

To increase the experience, one can also request to add a little tropical spice with one of the four signature aromatic blends, Spicy Bali, Ocean Waves or Jasmine Garland. Furthermore, the Indo-Asian Hot Stone Massage does not only provide a peaceful mind but it can help increase blood flow, which can alleviate the immune system.

Absolute Nirvana has once again excelled in providing the best spa treatments in the country by offering this Indo-Asian Hot Stone Massage.

Absolute Nirvana was honored by Conde Nast Magazine as “one of the hottest new spas in the country.”

Carolyn Lee, owner of the spa, also owns a bed and breakfast called The Madeleine that is a beautifully restored Victorian mansion. With Lee’s determination to provide authentic superb Indonesian spa treatments, it’s no wonder many are calling The Indo-Asian Hot Stone Massage as “breathtaking.”

About Absolute Nirvana

The story of Absolute Nirvana and family of inns started when Carolyn Lee moved to Santa Fe, NM, from Paris, France, in 1987. Lee opened her first inn the following year, naming it for her young son, Alexander.

Shortly after the birth of twins in 1996 Lee purchased two additional properties. Following the tradition of naming the inns after her children, Hacienda Nicholas and The Madeleine were born.

Lee never imagined she would own three inns, much less a spa. However, after two trips to Bali Lee was so taken by the beauty of the island and its people that she felt compelled to try to bring some of that experience home.

Bali is a feast for the senses and the people are so full of grace. Lee loved the fact that most spa treatments in Indonesia use traditional remedies based on plants, herbs, and spices for health and beauty care.

Lee came home and got busy recreating the atmosphere of Bali: one of beauty, elegance, and grace, where the client is treated with reverence and respect. The intention was to feed all the senses with fabulous tastes, heavenly aromas, beautiful sights, soothing sounds, and wonderful textures. Within a year Absolute Nirvana came to life.

Carolyn Lee feels so blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to put together a family of inns, and to watch them grow and evolve, much as she has watched her own family grow and evolve. She believes passionately that putting care and attention into what she does matters, and Lee hopes this personal commitment is apparent to every guest who visits.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
