Fiery red-tressed Allison Iraheta (American Idol 8 contender) is gearing up to release (June 8th) her new single "Don't Waste the Pretty" featuring Orianthi.
The newly turned 18 year old also begins a long ride on Adam Lambert's much hyped Glam Nation tour as the opening act. The tour kicked off in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on June 4.

Known on Season 8 for her killer vocals and ability to unleash some amazing unchained melodies which wowed fans, judges and cast members, Allison was given a standing ovation from Smokey Robinson for her Motown performance of "Papa Was A Rolling Stone."
Former AI judge Paula Adbul said Allison probably could "sing the telephone book" and make it sound good. Indeed. Allison has the pipes to make any song sound amazing.
Allison's debut album "Just Like You" debuted at #35 on the Billboard 200 chart and won three stars out of four from People Magazine and kudos from Entertainment Weekly.
BFFs Adam Lambert and Allison, known as Adison, plan to have lots of fun on tour for the summer. The two friends from Season 8 had a lot in common and supported each other until the end. Their close friendship continued at the American Idol Live concert last summer and they thrilled fans with their signature duet "Slow Ride."
The Glam Nation tour promises to be an incredible experience due to the appearance of Allison, Adam and the addition of singing guitar goddess Orianthi, who is on board for the tour ride as well.
