Julia Louis-Dreyfus At SAG 2010 Would Rather Be An Employed Actor Than Unemployed

Julia Louis-Dreyfus looked sexy in sheer and satin Dolce & Gabbana when she walked the red carpet at the SAG Awards Saturday night.  She had her famous naturally curly brunnette hair brushed completely off her face and pulled tightly back from a center part into a low nape neck curled chignon.

Julia's hairstyle was very sleek and tight, probably to avoid conflicting with her bronze hued gown which was elegant but had a lot of vertical and horizontal lines.

People's Peter Castro greeted Julia, who was nominated for a SAG by saying "well I hope Julia Louis-Dreyfus has plenty of room on her mantel because she could be taking home yet another SAG Award tonight.  She's nominated for Oustanding Performance by a Female Actor (in a Comedy Series) on "The New Adventures Of Old Christine."

Peter said to Julia "you're second SAG nomination for this show.  What does that feel like?"  Julia said "Well I know everybody says this, but it's really nice because it's your union.  It's your group, it's your fellow actors and so its a particularly nice, compliment but it feels.  I don't know it's just good.  It's not bad."

Peter said "and one final question, obviously you came from a great ensemble show.  ("The Seinfeld Show"), obviously you're heading up your own show now.  Is it difficult to do that?"

Julia "Well I love it.  I mean, this is a great gig.  So it is hard work but it's hard work that I truly enjoy and I'd rather be an employed actor than an unemployed actor."

Peter "Yes, amen to that.  Thank you so much."

Julia, who unfortunately did not win the SAG for 2010, losing out to "30 Rock's" Tina Fey, is also a spokesperson for Healthy Choice and E!'s Giuliana Rancic asked her on the SAG Red Carpet if Julia's given up her famous chocolate addiction to hawk for the healthy menu options.

"No, are you kidding me?" she said. "Moderation is the key to everything. I always have sweets. I have to have them on hand.

"You have this body and you can eat sweets?" Giuliana asked.

"You gotta have Spanx," Julia said. "Keep the spanx on and it will all work out!"

To protect against potential heat damage to your hair, always use a blow drier on the coolest setting and make sure to apply a good leave in conditioner that will protect the hair shaft from the dryer.
