With the 2009 Oscar Awards right around the corner, media buzz has exploded regarding a potential Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie face-off at the Night Before The Oscars party on Saturday.
It's been reported Jen will be definitely attending the famous awards ceremony with hot boyfriend John Mayer on her arm.
There's been no confirmation whether Jen and John will be in close proximity to Brad and Angie, fondly referred to as Bragelina.
Winner Of Best Hair Award?
Even if Jen and Angie do show up at the same place at either a Night Before The Oscars party or the actual awards I don't care if they get into a big cat fight, I care more about who has the better hair.
In fact, what the media doesn't cover much is the fact both women have access to some of the best celebrity hairdressers, make-up artists and stylists.
True To Natural Hair Color, Type & Texture
Ironically the two women, who appear to have the same taste in men, tend to have similar hairstyles and focus.
Except when required to go blonde for "Life Or Something Like It" (2002), Angie has remained true to her natural brunette hair color.
Ditto to Jen. Although her eponymous "Rachel" haircut and style triggered a hairstyle frenzy, Jen has also stayed close to her natural hair color and general texture with some slight enhancements including perfectly applied highlights and smoothing treatments.
Whether they are wearing sleek long ponytails cascading from a high crown base or soft chignons nestled into the nape of their necks, Jen and Angie favor similar Red Carpet hairstyles.
Although Jen and Angie have different skin and eye tones, their hair is often worn brushed off their face, even when styled with loose waves throughout the perimeter.
Academy Awards Hair Watch
Since the two stars wear their hair in gorgeous elegant Red Carpet styles, how will they wear their hair for Sunday's highly anticipated award ceremony? The world will be watching. With the popularity of hair extensions ranging from clip-in to semi-perm hair extensions, blonde hair is a lot easier to achieve without chemicals.
