Cosmopolitan Magazine Apologizes To Scarlett Johansson

According to several media sources including WWD and BullDog Reporter, the British version of Cosmopolitan magazine recently apologized to superstar Scarlett Johansson for quotes she supposedly made in a recent cover story for the magazine.

The quotes which reportedly made the blonde and beautiful actress "furious" were related to her recent marriage to actor Ryan Reynolds. Scarlett's publicist has described the quotes made in the Cosmo edition as "totally fabricated".

The magazine published the apology on their Web site on Friday, December 19, 2008. Their apology stated “Cosmopolitan would like to apologize to our readers and Scarlett Johansson for inaccuracies in our January issue, where we said she talked about her marriage and her relationship with her husband.”

“We now understand Ms. Johansson has not commented publicly on her married life and did not do so on this occasion.” The apology will also appear in British Cosmo’s February issue.

It has not been confirmed whether or not Scarlett will take legal action against British Cosmo which is a Hearst publication. Scarlett is known to be very private about her personal life which is why insiders believe she was so upset about the fabricated quotes involving her recent marriage.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
