The producers of the Las Vegas hit have wisely chosen the type of women that you would likely see working in a glittering casino in Sin City.  Their characters are dressed and coiffed appropriately to honor the show’s true theme.

Vanessa Marcil - Luscious Thick Dark Locks

In the case of Vanessa Marcil, the Las Vegas series imitates real life.  Vanessa, famous for her work on General Hospital and 90210, comes from the school of life's hard knocks.  She makes no bones about the fact that she is half Mexican and half European.

Her character Sam Marquez on Las Vegas has a similar background which helps define her hard edged personality.

Celebrity hairdresser Nanci Cascio, who has worked on many film sets over the years, including Las Vegas, remarked that Vanessa "has really great dark locks that are lush and thick".

In keeping with her sultry man-eating character for Las Vegas, Vanessa’s hairstyles are constantly changing from long, layered wavy locks that “pop” with heavily applied multi-dimensional highlighted hues in soft shades of caramel and rich blonde to dark chocolate with minimal highlights.

She mixes up a variety of textures appearing with silky straight strands, softly curled cascades and flirty ponytails.

Molly - Silky Long Blonde Locks

The former MTV House of Style beauty is perfect in her role as the spoiled little rich girl who adores spending daddy’s money on the latest couture fashions and accessories.  Molly Sims definitely knows how to make a grand entrance which is absolutely befitting her role on the NBC hit show.  In the show, Delinda Deline runs the restaurant and club.

The former supermodel oozes confidence, sophistication and class in her Delinda Deline role where fashion runway styles meet the glittering bright lights of a world class casino.

In reality, the blonde actress, has worn gold chain mail strappy sandals by Dolce & Gabbana as well as stellar fashions from big name designers.

Her longer blonde tresses are coiffed in simple but elegant styles that telegraphs Delinda’s pampered princess lifestyles.

Her shiny layered strands look effortlessly gorgeous and are worn either silky straight or dressed up with soft waves and loose curls.  She alternates between side-swept bangs and hair worn cascading up and off her stunning face.

Nikki Cox - Redheaded Tresses

Nikki Cox plays Mary Connell, the good girl with the heart of gold who just happens to possess eye-popping bombshell beauty topped off with long, softly coiled coppery blonde strands.

Although Nikki plays the sweet girl from back home, she is often dressed to show off her many obvious physical assets.

Her hair, which morphs back and forth between light copper blonde and darker burgundy shades, is usually styled in soft, ultra feminine texturized looks that would be in keeping with for her exciting day job as a special events planner for a world class casino.

Sometimes Nikki as Mary will mix it up by wearing flirty ponytails and soft messy twists.   Most of her hairstyles are built around a center zig zaged part with side swept bangs.

For evening events her tresses are transformed into more seductive evening styles built around cascading waves and curls ideal for cavorting with her on-again, off-again main man, Danny.

Marsha Thomason - Ice Princess With Natural Curls

Marsha Thomason was born and raised in Manchester, England.

Her Las Vegas character, Nessa Holt is nicknamed "The Ice Queen".  She was famous in England for her appearances in Playing The Field (1998) and Nurse Jacqui Richards in Where The Heart Is (1997).

In her initial portrayal of Nessa, Marsha wore her perfectly coiffed locks worn in a soft natural curled Afro.

As the season progressed, Marsh has blossomed in many ways not only in her characterization of Nessa, but in her hairstyles which have been spectacular.

Marsha has been wearing her dark, below the shoulders tresses in straightened sleek styles.

Long, full, below-the-eyebrow bangs play up her eyes and flatter her luminescent skin and beautiful face.

Cheryl Ladd - Blonde Angel

Stunning Las Vegas mom Cheryl Ladd has been appearing in films and television since 1970’s Josie and the Pussycats.  She became most famous in her breakthrough TV role as very blonde, cute little sis Kris Munroe, on Charlie’s Angels from 1977 until 1981.

In her current role as wife to Big Ed and mother to Delinda, Cheryl is perfectly typecast as cool, classy and elegant.

With her more mature role on Las Vegas Cheryl’s hair is hued a rich honey blonde and coiffed to reflect the accomplished wife of a successful and wealthy man who has raised a gorgeous daughter.

Summary

No wonder NBC has a major hit within Las Vegas.  Set in the famous Sin City, the show has glamorous appeal with a cast of sexy men and gorgeous women.

As if that wasn’t enough, Las Vegas producers recently announced that brunette beauty Lara Flynn Boyle would be bringing her own version of Irish spice to the cast for the Fall 2005 season.

Stay tuned for even more high-energy, sizzling hairstyles and riveting plotlines.
