Zero Gravity Trips For Non-Astronauts

The March 2010 issue of ForbesLife Magazine offers details on the ultimate escape.  For a mere $4,950 a person you can sign up at www.gozerog.com to experience literally zero gravity on a special 45 minute trip.

A Virginia company, Zero G, will take passengers up in a hollowed-out and liberally padded Boeing 727 for a series of parabolic climbs and dives based on NASA training exercises that set you floating, weightless for up to 30 seconds at a time.

ForbesLife warns "the climbs are steep and you feel the heavy press of g-forces as you lie back on a floor mat."  However, "suddenly, the plane tips into the down slope and you drift upward.  Fifteen unearthly parabolas allow you to bounce in slow motion off the ceiling and walls, somersualt in midair and try to mouth-catch M&Ms or glbules of mineral water."

Yes, the ride last for 45 minutes but the real danger?  Coming back to Earth and real gravity.

If you're looking for an unusual gift for a loved one or yourself and you have $4,950 to spare call 888-664-7284 or visit www.gozerog.com to check it out.

Can you imagine how amazing your hair will look flowing free with no gravity?  OK, well you know me, I always think about hair.
