Dancing With The Stars Finale - Paso Doble Scores

OK, there are spoilers here so if you want to watch a taped version of Dancing With The Stars stop watching now.  I am watching the show live and writing about the show as it happens.

At the beginning of the show the three judges, who are all talented in the art of dance, went and visited all three of the couples in their practice sessions and gave them pointers on how to improve.

I thought it was interesting that Carrie Ann Inaba when to visit Melissa Rycroft and Tony and told Melissa to get more aggressive with her Paso Doble, which she was weak in.

The three couples finished dancing the Paso Doble. It was interesting that they all danced in sequence with one couple coming onto the floor after the prior couple left.  All three couples danced during the same period to the same music.

Of course I was pulling for Melissa and Tony as my favorite with Giles and Cheryl as my second favorite.  I have never really warmed up to Shawn Johnson but I can't tell you why.

She seems lovely and talented, I just like Melissa and Cheryl Burke better.  So shoot me.

The critics are saying that Melissa can not win so I am telling everyone who loves her to make time to vote for her because she is definitely the underdog in this final round.

When commenting on the performances of the Paso Doble Len Goodman pointed out a mistake Melissa made.   She agreed with him. However, Carrie Ann was more on her side.

Carrie Ann Inaba said "this has been my favorite season.  Watching you side by side pointed out weaknesses and strength"  Carrie seemed to really like what Melissa was doing and seemed less positive about Shawn.  Bruno was very positive with Melissa and said she looked more beautiful than ever.  I agree.

Judge's Scores On Paso Doble

Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas got a 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba and a 9 from Len Goodman and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli for a total of 28.

Giles Marini and Cheryl Burke dressed in white with black and red accents got a 10 from Carrie Ann Inaba and a 10 from Len Goodman and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli for a total of 30.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovoloni in sexy black got a 10 from Carrie Ann Inaba and a 9 from Len Goodman and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli for a total of 29.

I would be fine with either Giles or Melissa winning so get out there and vote, vote, vote.  That can make a difference when all is said and done.

Although the three couples did the Paso Doble at the same time, the key is the Free Style which will win or lose the competition for the couples.  Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas were first up for the freestyle dance.  Only time will tell who will win the competition based on the Free Style.

Split ends are a separation of the hair shaft that exposes hair's fragile inner layers. The only real cure for split ends is to have them trimmed.
