TateAustin Adds Veteran Technology Talent
TateAustin Public Relations and Public Affairs has hired Jeff Hahn as a vice president to lead the regional firm's corporate technology communications practice. Hahn has spent the past 15 years with Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor as communications director.
Hahn's position at TateAustin complements the establishment of a partnership with tech industry consultant Tim Deagan and agency principal, Patti Summerville.
Deagan was formerly with Tivoli, a senior manager and partner at Athens Group, and a decision support system manager at Dell. Summerville is a 16-year veteran of IBM, specializing in marketing and training. Together, the three will work to expand the firm's focus on central Texas technology companies and initiatives.
Prior to joining TateAustin, Jeff Hahn was communications director at Freescale Semiconductor and Motorola's Semiconductor Product Sector (SPS).
For those companies, as well as with Motorola's corporate office in Schaumburg, IL and Lockheed Space Operations in Titusville, FL, he served in strategic communication roles including government relations, media relations, crisis communication, analyst relations, employee communications and executive communications.
Most recently, Hahn helped lead the communication efforts to transition Motorola SPS to Freescale Semiconductor.
