I'm a huge fan of Guido, Redken's Creative Consultant, who designs and styles some of the most spectacular hairstyles I have ever seen.

Guido's simple, but elegant braids with flowers created for a recent Dolce & Gabanna show are picture perfect for Summer months.

The braids beautifully pull hot heavy strands off the neck and away from the face while the beautiful flowers create a feminine touch.

Redken Products Used

I've been following Guido's work for many years as he consistently churns out new and drool worthy hairstyles for many runway shows every year.

What always amazes me is how simple Guido makes the finished runway hair seem.  He selects his Redken styling tools very carefully and they always build a great foundation without detracting from the finished looks.

More About Redken Creative Consultant Guido

Redken Creative Consultant Guido shared about the braids with flowers hairstyles "the girls always look ultra-beautiful for Dolce & Gabanna. Keeping with the brand's Italian heritage, I found myself drawing inspiration from classic Italian cinema. Fellini's work was definitely an inspiration for this season. The soft braided updo with the delicate hair accessories is very old world and romantic. Overall, the style is soft, pretty and classically beautiful. It is also flattering on most women, which is wonderful, since women tend to be drawn to the Dolce & Gabanna look each season."
