I'm always in awe of the spectacular hairstyles Sherri Jessee creates.

Recently I rediscovered 2 beautiful braided updos she had created.

I fell in love with these 2 beautiful braided updos all over again.

These 2 beautiful braided updos are perfect for any special Holiday hairdo, wedding or even a prom.

The beauty of these 2 stunning hairstyles is they can be worn with a simple strapless gown since the hair will take center stage.

Although they work best with shoulder length or longer hair, they can be created on fusion or clip-in strands.

If you prefer, you can create this braided do on pre-straightened dry cleansed hair.

1.  Begin by spritzing hair with water to dampen.

2.  Smooth damp hair into a super high pony with a base positioned a few inches back from the hairline.

3.  Secure the base with a hair-friendly elastic.

4.  Braid the ponytail with a simple three-strand plait.

5.  Secure the finished braid with a hair friendly elastic.

6.  Apply a small amount of shine serum of shine spray into the palms of the hands and massage together.

Lightly brush over the braid to smooth any fly-a-way strands.

7.  Fold the finished braid over in half.  Secure with a long hair pin or clip or similar.

8.  Insert a long hair pin through the center of the braid to stabilize it.

9.  Spray braid with a medium to firm holding hairspray.

10. Decorate the base with your favorite bracelet or a crystal embellish pony cuff.

Daily Hair Tip
Split ends are a separation of the hair shaft that exposes hair's fragile inner layers. The only real cure for split ends is to have them trimmed.
