Edie Falco Sizzles As Nurse Jackie

I've written about Edie Falco and Nurse Jackie since the very beginning of the series.  It is probably my all time favorite TV series right now.  Edie's acting and the plots on Nurse Jackie along with the supporting cast is just spectacular.

Now that Season Four of Nurse Jackie is in production, some of the hot new guest stars for the season are being announced and they're all killer.  It was announced a few weeks ago that Oscar and Emmy nominated actress Rosie Perez would be checking in to All Saint's.  Besides Rosie it was announced that Bobby Cannavale would also be popping up in the fourth season of the cable hit.

Cannavale, whose credits include Will & Grace as well as Six Feet Under, will play a formidable hospital administrator sent by the new conglomerate that buys the financially strapped All Saint’s Hospital to improve its efficiency and profitability.

Now it's just been announced that Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong will be guest starring on the series' upcoming fourth season, as well.

He'll be joining Edie and the other big celebs on the set including Peter Facinelli who plays Dr. "Coop" Cooper.  No word on whether Billie Joe Armstrong will be playing himself or not.

This upcoming season of Nurse Jackie should be killer.  Not only did Jackie ask her husband for a divorce at the end of the last season, her hospital administrator made her do urine testing to try and determine if Jackie was still doing drugs.  According to insiders there will be a lot of shake-ups with the new season but it will only spice up the already great series.

I can't wait.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
