She was also in the media for her long term relationship with hot actor Zac Efron. Some fans of the couple thought they might marry someday, but both have moved on to dating others.
Vanessa was recently spotted kissing Swedish guitarist Felix Rodriguez at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, California. The pair got together after the Hurley Walk the Walk National Championship and according to an onlooker they were inseparable at the bash.
Vanessa's Short Choppy Pixie Haircut
Not only has Vanessa distanced herself from her character in High School Musical, she and Zac Efron ended their long relationship in December of 2010.
Then Vanessa had her ionic long dark strands, which she had cut from it's longest length, into a short choppy pixie haircut for a new movie role.
Needless to say, fans were not wild about her transition from super long to super short hair. The media wasn't wild about Vanessa's short choppy pixie haircut either.
Unfortunately, hair extensions are touch and go with hair that is too short to handle the weight of a lot of strands.
Her finished post-extension hairstyle is a long bob with side swept strands (see image of Vanessa Hudgens with extensions on the side) which is a good half way point between her previous short choppy pixie and her original long strands.
Fusion Hair Extensions
Vanessa visited Empire 14 Salon in the Chelsea district of New York and had the appropriate Great Lengths Extensions fused to her short tresses. The estimated cost of Vanessa's new add-on fusion strands was over a thousand dollars.
In reality this is not that expensive. A head full of 100% all human hair extensions from Great Lengths can cost many thousands of dollars.
Unfortunately until Vanessa's natural strands grow out a bit, she will be limited to how many extensions her hair can hold in the interim. The salon reported that Vanessa was very nice to everyone, which fits with other media stories about the beautiful star.
