Born in the small town of Smithers, British Columbia the beautiful brunette moved often while growing up. With every move she would join whatever community group she could so she could follow her passion for acting.
At fifteen, she was signed to a modeling contract which required her to move to Japan to start her career. She studied the Japanese culture and quickly made it her second home. Japan became her big break when she was signed as the face of Shiseido cosmetics. Modeling was never her real passion and used her modeling as a stepping stone to greater things.
Gina is known for wearing her below-the-shoulders long lush chocolate brunette tresses in undulating waves. When not rocking her S shaped texture she wears her tresses pulled up into a sassy knot or chignon.
Follow the steps below to re-create Gina's lush waves:
1. Cleanse hair with a moisture enhancing formula. Optionally you may wish to consider a Diluted Shanpoo (DS) Conditioning Only Wash (CO) or a Water Only Rinse.
3. Finish with a cool or cold water final rinse to close the cuticle and add shine.
5. Apply a wave enhancing styling cocktail consisting of leave-in conditioner, defrisant and mousse or styling gel from roots to ends. Do not comb or brush through hair which may disrupt the natural texture.
7. After diffusing each section wind the section around your finger in a ringlet formation. Pin against the scalp to allow section to dry and set.
9. Unpin each section and bend over at the waist to shake out the waves. Optionally you can use a 1 1'2 to 2" wide curling iron to refine the waves.
