Jerry Seinfeld To Be The First Guest On The Premiere Of 'The Jay Leno Show'

Jerry Seinfeld will join previous announced musical guests Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna -"The Jay Leno Show" Premieres Monday, September 14

Jay Leno welcomes friend and fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld to kick off his primetime comedy series "The Jay Leno Show" (Monday-Friday, 10-11 p.m. ET).

During his appearance Seinfeld will promote his concerts at Ceasars Palace on Dec. 26 and 27, the "Seinfeld"-themed story arc on the upcoming season of Larry David's HBO comedy "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and his upcoming NBC venture, "The Marriage Ref."

Seinfeld will join previous announced musical guests Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna.

Leno moves from late night to primetime in his new comedy show premiering Monday, September 14 (10-11 p.m. ET).

"The Jay Leno Show" will be the first entertainment program to be stripped across primetime on broadcast network television and will showcase many of the features that have made Leno America's late-night leader for more than a dozen years.

Marking a new era in television, Jay Leno, recently named America's Favorite TV Personality by the 2009 Harris Poll, moves from late night to primetime on September 14 when "The Jay Leno Show" becomes the first-ever entertainment program to be stripped across primetime on broadcast network television.

"The Jay Leno Show" promises more comedy in the 10 o'clock hour and will showcase many of the features that have made Leno America's late-night leader for more than a dozen years.

"The Jay Leno Show" is from Big Dog Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Debbie Vickers is the executive producer.
