Long Haired Ashlee Simpson Spotted Out Shopping

Ashlee Simpson was spotted out doing some shopping at Alice + Olivia in Los Angeles today.  The long hair actress/singer/performer has been busy with her mom duties taking care of her little baby boy.  Ashlee has been scarce lately, but was taking a day for herself.

Looking cute and edgy in form fitting black pants, biker boots and a gray tank top, the new "Melrose Place" star perused racks at the Robertson Blvd boutique while her personal assistant carried around her choices.

"Melrose Place," is continuing to ramp up.  It was just announced by Access Hollywood that original cast members will eventually be returning at various times.

Actress Josie Bissett is returning to the show for a guest appearance on at least one episode.

The new "Melrose Place" debuts in the fall on The CW.
