Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Afraid Of Disneyland Rides

Actress Carla Gugino recently stopped by to chat with Ellen about her new movie coming to theaters this weekend.  The movie, "Race To Witch Mountain" is highly anticipated and co-stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with Carla as Dr. Alex Friedman.

Ellen pointed out, when interviewing Carla that now he's dropped "The Rock" and it's just Dwayne Johnson, is that correct?"  Carla said "yes but I'm sure you could call him "The Rock".

Ellen said "no I'll call him what he wants me to call him."  Carla said "I don't think he dislikes "The Rock" but yes, that was like a character he played and now he is himself."

Ellen said "now he's Dwayne Johnson." Ellen asked Carla "and how was that (working with Dwayne)?"  She said "amazing, it was awesome, we had, its funny he's so incredible with stunts, he's one of those people who looks like there's no cutting involved, he can do an amazing stunt sequence and you're blown away. Although I will say there's a little chink in the armor."

She told Ellen the cast all "because we went to Disneyland to bond as a cast" before shooting because "our director Andy Fickman wanted the cast to go, so its Dwayne and myself, Anna Sophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, who play the kids and we go to Disneyland.  We're getting on some rides and Dwayne's like "well I'm not getting on that one, uh huh, not going to do that one and finally we're about to get on the Tower of Terror.  I'm like (to Dwayne) what's going on? I said, you've got to get on the Tower of Terror and he's like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.  So the doors (to the ride) close and he doesn't get on it.

Carla said to Ellen "then I find out Dwayne apparently "gets claustrophobic" in close places which include rides. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will not get on any of the scary rides." Ellen ask "is it claustrophobia or is it fear that he doesn't want to get on the rides?" Carla said "I mean I think that's going to be up to you to determine."  Ellen "yeah because he's on soon, he could just be using that excuse just to not get on a ride."

Carla "at first I thought he was being kind of a gentleman you know, go ahead, go ahead and then I realized uh huh, uh huh.  Ellen said "he's a scaredy cat"  Carla "I think so."  Ellen said "yeah"

So what do you think?  Is Dwayne a scaredy cat?

Daily Hair Tip
Always detangle wet hair with a good quality hair pick or wide toothed comb. Make sure that the pick or comb's "teeth" are smooth to prevent snagging or ripping delicate wet hair.
