Bar Refaeli Wraps Herself Around Southwest Airlines

Carrie Bradshaw was thrilled when her photo was wrapped around a bus in New York advertising her Sex And The City column.

Can you only imagine how the sex columnist would have felt if an image of her body only in a sexy bikini was wrapped around an entire airplane?

Blonde and beautiful Bar Refaeli is the latest supermodel to grace the cover of the annual Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit Issue.

Unlike Carrie Bradshaw whose image was on a New York bus, Bar's bikini clad image was wrapped around a Southwest Airline's Boeing 737 plane which just happened to land in a New York airport.  Some correlation there I guess.

Known as SI One, the Southwest plane (N922WN) landed in New York's LaGuardia airport wrapped with a temporary decal featuring the cover model from the 2009 Sports Illustrated cover.  Dallas based Southwest Airlines has turned their fun factor up a giant notch.

The folks back in Dallas, my hometown, are all abuzz about Southwest Airlines landing the SI deal.  It is a new departure for the airline but a welcome one for sure.  It is also noteworthy that Southwest Airlines does not have official gate priviledges at LaGuardia although they can rent or lease space on a temporary basis.

While it was pretty edgy back in the day for Carrie to be on a bus, having your image wrapped on an entire plane is taking edgy up a notch.

Of course lets not forget that in addition to being on the 2009 cover of Sports Illustratrated and having her bikini clad body on an airline, Bar is the current love interest of none other than Leonardo Caprio.

A Mr. Big like no other.  Do you agree?

Daily Hair Tip
To protect against potential heat damage to your hair, always use a blow drier on the coolest setting and make sure to apply a good leave in conditioner that will protect the hair shaft from the dryer.
