Star and Celebrity hair stylist Carla Gentry Osorio owner of Styles New York Salon located at 5 W. 46th St. 2nd Floor, New York creates amazing styles for a range of celebrities.

The Styles salon, located in the heart of Little Brazil in New York City, is particularly cozy and original with beautiful mahogany chests plus antique mirrors that make you feel at home.

The crystal chandeliers and huge windows give it a vintage feeling with a family -like atmosphere as the loyal client-base chat and socialize while they are groomed.  Mimosas are served Saturday mornings and cocktails on Friday evenings for a relaxing end of the week unwind.

Carla has been a hair expert for more than 15 years.  She's worked at the salon for ten, but is now the owner for the last two years, an example of perseverance and hard work.

Carla's recent works on actress Jada Pinkett Smith have earned her a mention in Essence Magazine's Top Ten Celebrity Hair Moments of 2007.

Essence said "Jada continues to be a cutting-edge chameleon when it comes to her hair. And she didn't disappoint at the recent I Am Legend opening working the red carpet with a curly fro!"

Canadian celebrity hairstylist Marc Anthony at the 78th Academy Awards in LA said: "The best ponytail. We saw it all over the red carpet, but I really liked the way Jada Pinkett Smith wore it."
