Here Comes The Side (Do): Whimsical Spring Bridal Collection

Introduction

Lucie Doherty

Paul Mitchell All Rights Reserved

As we march into spring, the wedding season is just down the aisle.

To usher in this exciting time of year, Paul Mitchell Editorial Director Lucie Doughty has created a collection of effortlessly chic bridal looks that capture the romance of the big day.

“Delicate” and “whimsical” were Lucie’s inspirational buzz words for the shoot.

“Beautiful waves and slightly whimsical balances were my inspiration,” says Lucie.

“I wanted to create a cascading updo that was both romantic and flirty.”

For the styles, Lucie first blow-dried the hair with Extra-Body Sculpting Foam®.

Next she set the hair horizontally using the Express Ion Curl® 1.0.

The hair was then brushed into waves using the 413 Styling Brush. Extra-Body Finishing Spray® sealed gave the look and gave it its finishing hold.
