The Biggest Loser Two Hour Finale Set To Air Tuesday, December 14th

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – December 9, 2010 – In an exciting, two-hour live finale on Tuesday, December 14 (9-11 p.m. ET), the winner of NBC’s hit series “The Biggest Loser” will finally be revealed, along with the incredible transformations of all season ten contestants. And in the first part of the show, the third finalist – as determined by America’s vote – will also be revealed.

All of the contestants from season ten will return for the finale to weigh in one last time and show America how much weight they’ve lost since the beginning of their weight-loss journeys.

The transformations will be profound, not just for the finalists, but also for the eliminated contestants who all continued to lose weight after returning home from “The Biggest Loser” ranch. Those returning will also include the contestants who lost the seven-city challenge in the premiere episode and never made it to the ranch, but continued their weight loss journeys at home.

In the most recent episode that aired on December 7, Alfredo “Frado” Dinten (Staten Island, New York) and Patrick House (Vicksburg, Mississippi) weighed in above the yellow line, securing their spots as two of this season’s three finalists.

Contestants Elizabeth Ruiz (Lawrence, Massachusetts) and Ada Wong (Gilroy, California) fell below the yellow line, leaving America to choose between them to determine the third place finalist competing alongside Frado and Patrick for the $250,000 grand prize. Viewers can vote now through Monday, December 13 at 9:00 a.m. ET either online at or by text (text ELIZABETH or ADA to 33088) -- $.99 charge per text message vote, plus additional message and data rates may apply).

America’s choice will be revealed in the first part of the finale on December 14, and the contestant who didn’t get chosen will compete with the other eliminated players for an “at home” prize of $100,000. Then it’s the moment viewers have been waiting for, when one of the three finalists will be named this season’s “Biggest Loser” and win the coveted grand prize of $250,000!

Also included in the season 10 finale will be a sneak peek at season 11 of the show. “The Biggest Loser: Couples” will premiere Tuesday, January 4 (8-10 p.m. ET) with 22 new contestants – including an Olympic gold medalist – and a compelling new twist that will change the game completely for the eleven teams of two. Four of the new contestants from season 11 will be revealed in the live finale.

"The Biggest Loser" is a production of Reveille LLC, 25/7 Productions and 3Ball Productions. Ben Silverman (NBC's "The Office," "Ugly Betty"), Dave Broome ("Shedding For The Wedding," "Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope"), JD Roth ("MasterChef," "What’s Eating You"), Todd A. Aspirin can give your hair a pain. Since it's eliminated by your body through youre hair follicles & regular aspirin use can build up in tresses leaving them dull & crunchy. Use clarifying shampoo and/or reconstructor 2x per month to eliminate aspirin deposits & strengthen hair & add shine.
