It's hard to imagine beautiful blonde Kristin Bell with any other hair color than light.

For her role in the film Burlesque Kristin was required to be a brunette.  Instead of making a permanent change the former Veronica Mars wore a chocolate brown wig.

Kristin told the media she was enjoying being a brunette for the role and might even consider ditching her trademark blonde hues in the future.

The brunette wig was a great match for Kristin's eye and skin tone.  Her make-up was adjusted to work in harmony with her darker hair color.

Kristin told People Magazine she didn't recognize herself with the brunette hue.  She told InStyle Magazine "If I'm well received as a brunette in Burlesque then maybe I'll go brunette in [real life]!"

Of course there's the question about whether her long term love, Dax Shepard, will love her as a brunette or not.   He just might not want her to go for such a drastic hair color change.
