Kate Flannery - Things You May Not Know

Kate Flannery is the randy red tressed Meredith Palmer on NBC's hit comedy, The Office.

The lovely daughter of a traditional Irish Catholic family complete with seven children, Kate is very different from Meredith. In fact, Kate is the poster girl for a picture perfect medium length bob hairstyle which she has worn in slightly modified incarnations for some years.

Kate knows her hairstyle works beautifully with her face shape, her skin and eye tones and her thick hair which has lots of natural wave and bend.

1. Kate was born in Philadelphi, Pennsylvania.

2. She's a Gemini born June 10, 1964.

3. Kate is the only cast member of The Office, which is set in Scranton, Pennsylvania who was actually born in Pennsylvania.

4. Her father owned a very popular bar, TA Flannerys, which Kate and her siblings visited on Sundays to clean, hang out and dance.

5. Kate inherited her fantastic comedic talents from her dad who Kate has said "held court at his bar" with his fabulous humor.

6. Part of a set of twins, Kate's sister, who doesn't look anything like her, is a social worker.

7. Kate told Bonnie Hunt she's the "evil twin" or the "black sheep" because she's an actress.

8. The talented actress graduated from the U of The Arts in Philadelphia.

9. She studied musical theory at Shenandoah Conservatory and has enjoyed success with her singing.
