Jessica Ann Simpson was born on July 10, 1980 (Cancer sun sign, Scorpio rising - based on mother's info provided to Karen Marie Shelton in 2006) in Abilene, Texas although some reports have her being born in Dallas. Jess, as her friends call her, went to school in Dallas but was born in Abilene. Her younger sister is Ashlee Simpson. Jessica is known for her starring role on The Newlyweds on MTV, her singing and her hair, fragrance, shoe and clothing lines.

As of Mardh 23, 2012 Jessica is pregnant with her first child, a daughter, due to be born in April.  She is also engaged to be married to her second husband Eric Johnson, a former professional football player.  She is co-starring on the TV reality show, Fashion Star.
