'Rachael Harris'
Biography

Comedian (and actress) Rachael Elaine Harris was born January 12, 1968 in Worthington, Ohio and graduated from Worthington High School (now Thomas Worthington High School).

Rachael went on to graduate from the esteemed Otterbein College where she majored in theater.  She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Adam Paul.

Rachael (not to be confused with Rachel Harris) performed with the Los Angeles improv troupe, Groundlings.

Rachael is currently still a member of "The Groundlings Main Company". Her film credits include roles in Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration, Starsky & Hutch, Kicking & Screaming, and Daddy Day Care.

She landed her first television job on a 1993 episode of SeaQuest DSV and after an appearance on Star Trek: Voyager in 1997, she went on to a recurring role in Disney's Sister, Sister.

Other television credits include a stint as a corespondent for The Daily Show's 2002-2003 season, as well as minor guest spots on The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911!, The West Wing, Friends, Star Trek Voyager, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Monk.

In her Monk appearance she was notable as Alice, part of the police deparment and Monk's "secret Santa".  In the episode she provided Monk with a gift that delighted him.  The gift was actually a miniature broom with a matching dustbin.  Monk was touched.  Ultimately Racheal's character was the murderer.  She spiked a bottle of brandy with poison.  She was excellent in the role and very understated.  Unless you were a big Monk fan you might not know she was a great susptect.

Rachael also took the key supporting role of Kevyn, Kirstie Alley's personal makeup artist, on the Showtime series Fat Actress in 2005.

She hosted Smoking Gun TV in 2004, but is probably best known for her frequent appearances on VH1's nostalgia-based documentaries like I Love the '80s, I Love the '90s, and Best Week Ever.

Her commercial work includes ads for T-Mobile, Dinty Moore, Quaker Oats, and Geico. She appeared as the baby-hating Cooper in the ABC sitcom Notes from the Underbelly.

As Cooper, Rachael was spectacular.  Ironically, her part required her to be a workaholic career focused executive who detested babies.  However, her best friend in the show was pregnant with her first baby.  In addition, Cooper spent time with her best friend's neighbor, who also had a newborn.

Racheal was beyond hilarious in Notes from the Underbelly.  In my opinion, the cancellation of the show was a great loss for all Rachael Harris fans.

Rachael also appears in numerous commercials. She is the voice of Karolyn Slowsky in the popular COMCAST Slowsky's (Turtle) television commercials.

Daily Hair Tip
If you lie on your back while you sleep this could cause hair stress leading to split ends in the back. To avoid hair stress tie hair back using a soft scrunchie band.
