Term: Vitamin A

Robust anti-oxidant. Often used in combination with Vitamins E and C as a natural preservative for skin and hair care products. Vitamin A is essential for tissue repair and maintenance. This vitamin will also accelerate the formation of healthy new skin cells. It is beneficial in the treatment of skin disorders. Vitamin A has anti-inflammatory properties and generally aids in healing.
