Term: Resistant Hair

Hair resists penetration of chemical treatments such as coloring, waving, straightening or similar treatments. Gray hair may sometimes resist the addition of hair color. Some hair textures may not take perms or other chemical treatments. A variety of factors can cause hair to be resistant.
