Term: Resistant

Resistant means hair that is resistant to hair color or to other types of hair treatments. Resistant has usually has a glassy surface. It also has difficulty absorbing moisture. Resistant hair is lacking in flexibility and natural bend. Hair that is resistant to hair color will usually require a stronger developer (peroxide) than normal. It also may take longer to develop or cook. Resistant hair always requires a much more liberal application of hair color or similar products.

After you have removed hot rollers from you hair let the curls set for a minute. Use fingers or pick to carefully arrange curls so they don't droop.
