Term: Power Blowdrying

After hair has been freshly washed and towel blotted dry, use a hair dryer set on the hottest setting in very short busts to remove excess moisture. from the hair. Power blowdrying is done by many stylists as the first blow drying step towars creating perfect straight blow outs. Power blow drying is done quickly and sparingly with a rotating movement to avoid directing excessing heat to the roots or the scalp. Once the excessive moisture is removed the hair is sectioned and then blow dried on a medium setting with the aide of the appropriate brush such as a round or paddle brush. A cool to cold setting is often used at the end of the cycle to set the newly straight style.

Daily Hair Tip
To create retro-look hair waves liberally apply a good setting gel, then use massive clips to hold hair in desired shape. Use gentle hairdryer heat, release clips and enjoy lots of new waves.
