Term: Permanent Hair Color

The majority of permanent hair color formulas include ammonia and when mixed with peroxide, has the ability to lift pre-existing color from the hair and deposit new color in place of the old. Permanent hair is permanent. To maintain the color permanent haircolor needs to have matching color applied to the re-growth every 4-8 weeks, depending on how fast the hair grows and other variables.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
