Term: Moisturizing Hair Conditioners

Moisturizing Hair Conditioners are designed to draw moisture into the hair with humectants which are chemical compounds which absorb and hold moisture. Moisturizing conditioners also seal moisture inside damp hair by coating the cuticle. Natural moisturizing ingredients may include oils, essential fatty acids, sodium PCA and sometimes herbs. Coating moisturizers usually contain wax or glycerin in addition to other ingredients which work in harmony to add moisture.

Daily Hair Tip
To protect against potential heat damage to your hair, always use a blow drier on the coolest setting and make sure to apply a good leave in conditioner that will protect the hair shaft from the dryer.
