Term: Herbaceous

A fragrance with a spicy, grassy green quality. Rosemary, lavender, and thyme are examples of a herbaceous scent. When essential oils of rosemary, lavender and/or thyme are utilized in hair oils or product, they may take on a herbaceous fragrance or scent.
