Dr. Murad is a practicing Dermatologist and a visionary in the science of skincare. Dr. Murad practiced as a registered pharmacist while studying to become a physician. His background as a pharmacist combined with his experience as a Dermatologist led to the discovery of many breakthroughs in skincare. In the late 1980s, he pioneered the use of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and was the first to make these skincare products available to consumers through salons.
