Term: Curler

Another word for hair roller. Hair is wound around hair rollers or curlers to produce a curl pattern in the hair. Curlers come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, colors and materials. Curlers can be plastic, foam, electric, steam and rubber, to name some of the more popular materials that are used. Curlers can also be made out of everything from empty orange juice cans to pipe cleaners and empty paper towel cardboard rolls.

If you set your hair on hot rollers, always wait until the rollers have cooled completely before taking them out of your hair.
