Cool Tones

Definition
Cool tones can be used to describe either skin or hair colors. Unlike warm tones which tend to have a gold, yellow or brown underbase, cool tones tend to have a blude undertone. Cool skinned people can wear cool hair colors such as vivid red with a slight blue undertone. Other coll haircolors would include rich raspberry, plum or blue black. Strawberry blonde would be ideal as would soft pink highlights ala Jessica Simpson or Pink. Platinum white or soft white tones work as do lemon yellow blonde shades. Ruby red is also a potentially good cool hue choice.

Daily Hair Tip
Whenever possible limit or avoid using a brush on curly tresses. Instead use a widetooth pick or comb with "hair friendly" edges that won't rip or tear fragile curls.
