A leading manufacturer of electric and small motor hair dryers, blow dryers, curling irons, electric rollers, combs burhses and crimpers. Many in the hair care industry credit Conair with the introduction of the very first pistol type of portable blow dryer that was introduced in the United States in 1971. The introductio of the pistol grip portable dryer was revolutionary to the hair care business and over time changted the way that men and women styled their hair.
