Term: Cocktailing

The mixing of different brands of products mixed together to form a best of breed styling or hair care styling solution. Cocktailing is the creation of a unique or custom cocktail of hair care products that is then layered on the hair. Cocktailing can occur within the same hair care line or with competing lines.
