Term: Blow Dryer

Blow dryers were designed originally to combine the tasks of drying and styling the hair. Blow dryers come in all sizes and for all purposes. Designed to product a constant flow of temperature controlled air, many blow dryers offer more than one speed to facilitate control and styling ease. Blow dryers consists of a small engine or fan, a heating element and on/off/heat/speed controls. Some blow-dryers come with a special diffuser, brush, comb or concentrator attachment. Others only have an air-direction nozzle that control the air flow from the dryer.

Other blow-dryer options include folding handles, optional cord keepers, special quiet motor, translucent colors and Ion air flow.
