Basil Oil

Definition
Basil oil originated in India but now is cultivated in many countries around the Mediterranean. The botanical name of basic means "quick" because the plant grows so quickly. Authentic basil oil, not the synthethic form, is considered to help with hair loss and scalp related problems when mixed with a carrier oil like almond, jojoba or sesame oil. Basil oil should never be applied "neat" or directly to the scalp or skin since it can burn and be too potent.

Daily Hair Tip
Eat a mango for your hair. Mangoes are "hair friendly" & have the highest concentrations of minerals, vitamins and trace elements that tresses need for great health and beauty.
