Term: Ara Gallant

Recognized by many in the hair, beauty & fashion industry as the first star editorial hairdresser who work constantly graced the pages of Vogue in the heydays from 1966 - 1971. Ara Gallant was also the key inspiration for Michael Gordon's (formerly of Bumble & Bumble) book - Hair Heroes copyright 2002 by Bumble & Bumble which outlines many of hair's greatest celebrity and editorial hairdressers including the late Vidal Sassoon, Kenneth Battelle (Mr. Kenneth or simply Kenneth) and Alexandre.

Visit your hairstylist on a regular basis. Regular trims are essential for great-looking hair. Short hair should be trimmed approximately every 4-6 weeks, medium length hair 6-8 weeks and long hair needs to be trimmed every 8-10 weeks.
