Term: Aloe Vera

A thick gel-like liquid that is deried from the actual leaves of the Aloe Barbadenis plant. Some people apply the aloe gel to skin burns and irritations by snapping off an aloe plant leaf and applying the gel directly to the afflicted area. Aloe gel is often incorporated into a variety of styling products and is considered a valuable addition to some homemade styling products with a flaxseed base. It is also considered a wonderful product to apply to scalp irritation or burns.

When included in hair & beauty products aloe vera hydrates and soothes hair & scalp.

Daily Hair Tip
After you have removed hot rollers from you hair let the curls set for a minute. Use fingers or pick to carefully arrange curls so they don't droop.
